My story is not uncommon, when you have doctors who are looking at how much money they make instead of how much they can help the patient they can and often do get your diagnosis wrong. Unfortunately this can lead to improper treatments and in the worst of cases death.

You need to keep a watch on your own health, your health belongs to you and you alone. You owe it to yourself to do all you can to live and remain healthy………

Let me tell you my story and then you will understand why this site came about.

I had started working for Home Depot in January of 2005. Was a great job with great benifits plus I was working with my son on the grave shift. I enjoyed working in the outside garden dept. restocking the bricks and lumber and other gardening supplies. One day my boss told me I was going to be working out front putting all the BBQ grilles an lawnmowers together.

That was fine with me and I did it up until just a few short months when I took a hard fall smacking my right knee. It hurt for a bit and I worked through it for about another month. I had developed what is called “Foot Drop” where my right foot would just flop when I walked. My right knee would hyperflex backwards and not stop normally like my left knee due to my right hip flexor muscle not working like it should.

Soon it got so bad I was unable to walk like a normal person. So I sought medical attention and then this is where it gets crazy. The neurologist I was seeing has MRI’s done and does an EMG test. After that he has me pee in a special container for a 24 hour period (to check for heavy metals) and draws more blood from me then they did during the 20 years I spent in the Air Force.

After all these tests he determines that I have ALS and tells me I have 3 to 5 years to live. So here I was given a death sentence when all I had was a bum leg and foot. At first I became very angery and actually cursed God and started down the pity party road. When I told my family they couldn’t belive it and suggested I seek out a second opinion. Instead I asked the doctor if he was certain of my death sentence.

He told me he would order up a few more tests to make sure he was right. So more blood was drawn and a lumbar punch as well. Next thing I know someone is drawing spinal fluid from me to be tested. Results come back negative on the spinal fluid. So know my doctor seeks out help from 2 ALS specialist at the Davis Medical University in CA. Well they reviewed all the data and tell my doctor that I don’t display the proper signs of an ALS patient. One even questioned the MRI’s of my spine.

During all of this I realized that I had said some pretty nasty things to the one Great Physician of them all, God. I got down on my knees as best I could and I prayed asking for forgiveness for the things I said and asked Him to heal me and keep me alive long enough to see my first grandchild that was yet to be born. Shortly after that I had noticed that dark cloud hanging over me was moving on.

Several weeks after my prayers the doctor calls me and tells me he misdiagnosed me and that I had PLS which is disabiling but not fatal. I asked him how he came to this conclussion and he said “since you show negative with the tests for ALS you must have PLS”. I am thinking to myself “Great because of all the negatives I Positively have something else”, I told him thanks and hung up the phone.

Since that day I have become closer to God and have relied on Him to show me what His will is for me. I told Him I have faith in Him and believed whatever it was I would do it no matter what. Well I had found a Chiropractor that was a man of God himself and set up an appointment to see if he could help me.

After the exam he told me it would take a few days to look at my xrays and review my MRI’s and read all the files the other doctor had on me. He even took all my info to 2 other specialist. One was a Chiroprator/Neuroligist and the other wrote the book on spinal injuries. On my next appointment my new doctor had told me that he doesn’t believe I have PLS let alone ALS and that the other 2 specialist agreed. One even went so far as to suggest my first doctor was an idiot. My new doctor showed me my MRI’s and where I had 3 bulging discs in my neck (controls the foot) and several in my lumbar area (that controls my hip flexor).

So after 2 years of Chiropractic treatment I am able to walk with a leg brace and canes and can even drive my car with no trouble. I am not winning any foot races but I am able to move and do what God has directed me to do. I know my full healing will come but only after I do the Lords work. The work I am talking about is to let those with health problems know that God loves them and wants them well. That all they have to do is keep their eye on Him and not to lose Faith in Him

I must tell you that this last July 2009 I left on a road trip back east to TN and KY to visit with friends and family. On July 29th 2009 I was involved in an auto accident. All parties involved are fine except for the cars. Praise God he had us all in His hands and kept us safe. While in KY I noticed my back was getting a little stiff and my legs were shaking a bit. So I found a Chiroprator here in Russell Springs KY and he is treating me for a minor lateral whiplash. He says my body is responding well and I shouldn’t have any problems driving to Katy TX to be present for the birth of my first grandchild Lilli this November. He aslo concurred with my doctor that I don’t have ALS or PLS.

So I ask anyone reading this if 4 doctors agree that I don’t have ALS or PLS and I have had 2 other people that don’t know each other tell me that they prayed for me and God told them “I was not going to die from what the first doctor said” isn’t it very possible that God is trying to tell me he is taking care of me and to be there for those in need?

I think so and with that this site was born out of the need for God to let all his children know that he will never leave you in your hour of need and that Faith in Him even the size of a single mustard seed is all you need.

We will be adding material on here about food, fitness as well as herbal info that might just help you. One more thing I need to tell you, anything we post on here or offer should not be considered as a cure all. We still need medical science and even God knows that the combination of prayer and medicine is sometimes needed
